Wild Wild West makes it clear enough what kind of theme it proposes to its players. Inspired by the Wild West, a time in American history that is celebrated to this day by a special brand of movies, the westerns, the game focuses on a train heist.
The robbery and the team that does it are described in the comic book style design of Wild Wild West, and NetEnt seems to have done a wonderful job with this slot machine. They are known for giving the player a great design, but here they did it in a comic book style that fits the topic like a glove.
The symbols have a couple of icons that aren’t 100% themed, card suits being used there, but their quality is still very good. The other symbols show locomotives, safes and the various members of the train heist gang.

Special Features
Wild symbols are part of many slot machines, and Wild Wild West is no exception. You will use them here like you would in any other game, at least the ones from the base game. Wilds are symbols which can be used as jokers of sorts, symbols which can replace others in new combinations if they appear in the correct position.
The Safe is the second symbol to have some sort of extra ability. In this case, it is a scatter symbol, and a way for you to get a simple bonus game started, whose only role is to offer you a cash prize. With 3+ Safe icons scattered around, you trigger a feature that takes place on the same screen. You pick one Safe and you get the prize hidden inside.
Finally, we have the Locomotive, another symbol which can trigger a feature with you. It appears to be another scatter, and a symbol which needs to appear at least three times during the same spin, in order to give you a minimum of 10 free spins and some additional wild features.
You get one of the four extra wild features, and you might benefit from the presence of a wild which has a multiplier, one that can expand, or another one that can spread to other positions.
