Theme of The Game
Platoon Wild’s inspiration comes from a 30 year old film, which was called Platoon. A major movie during the 80s, and considered to this day one of the best war films to have covered the Vietnam War, Platoon starred names like Willem Dafoe or Charlie Sheen, much younger back then obviously.
The director of this popular film was Oliver Stone. The pokie we’re getting here, from iSoftBet, is based on that film and actually uses images from it, with four of the actors which were in it, all of them well known these days.

How To Play It
The game seems to keep things simple, and relatively cheap, requiring that you always use 20 coins for the 20 lines, but then only giving you the option of taking the coin from $0.01 to $0.50, which would be the entire line bet. You can spend anywhere from $0.20 to $10 per spin.
You shouldn’t expect a modern look from a game that’s based on a 1986 film, which covers a war from the early 70s, and you’re not going to get something that is out of character.
You have a military style look for the background and surrounding decorations, with bullets, camouflage colors and military greens being part of it. It might not be impressive, but it’s in character and it fits the theme.
Special Features
I’d discuss the wild symbol first, since it’s the one you use to get the best payout that can come out of a regular combo of up to five symbols on a payline.
If the wild logo manages to appear three to five times, arranged from the left to the right on a line, you will get paid 200x to 2,500x. Otherwise, you will be able to use the wild as the substitute that can get some other payout for you. Don’t expect it to replace Jackpot or Free Spin symbols.
There is also a Free Spins Logo, one which will be used as a trigger for the feature that it borrows its name from. This is a scatter, able to appear anywhere on the 5 reels, and it will give you 8 free spins with 2x multipliers when it’s in a minimum of three positions.
Maximum Payouts
