How To Play It
If you want to stick to the base game, you play this pokie as you would any other. You can modify the bet value from the bottom, taking it as high as $20 for the 10 active lines, which would mean $2 per line.

One thing that impressed me about this game is the fact that it allows combinations to form anywhere on a payline, and so they don’t have to start from a certain point. You can have a combo which starts from the left, from the right, or it can simply be in the middle of the payline, not touching any of the ends. This makes up a bit for the fact that only 10 paylines are used.
The only other big feature to mention is the one that gives the game its name, Giant Gems. These are symbols which occupy all three middle reels when they show up.
There are five of them total, and you can get them to show up on 1, 2 or 3 rows, but they will be complete only when they’re occupying all the positions on those reels. They behave like stacked symbols basically. To get these Giant Gems, you need to activate the Fortune Spins, and use bigger and bigger bets.
At the same time, the pokie will remove poker cards from the reels, so the odds of high payouts increase considerably. It can be a very expensive feature though, since you can go up to $200 with the side bets, the base game wager being at $20.
