Gold Lab appears to be centered around the idea of a modern alchemist. The main character in this pokie machine is a scientist that tries in his lab to turn things into gold, using various potions that he creates.
Alchemy might not be a new idea, but the game is different from most scientist pokie machines that have already been released by developers. The developer which just announced Gold Lab is called Quickspin. They are set to release Gold Lab in August 2016, and based on what we’ve seen so far they should do great with it.
Quickspin is one of my favorite developers these days, the reason being that the quality in their designs is among the best I’m seeing.

How To Play It
You get to modify the wagers in this game by clicking on the Total Bet section and then choosing a value that you’re comfortable using for each spin. You can take it as high as $100 for one spin, and it will cover all 25 lines with individual bets of $4.
The interface is not exactly the standard one, but if you’re used to pokie machines from Quickspin then you know what you’re getting. It’s easy to figure out anyway, with the bets grouped in a single section, while the Spin button is on the far right side.
The quality of the symbols and the general graphics is excellent, though the choice of images for the symbols could’ve been more varied.
Special Features
Wild symbols do exist in Gold Lab, and they are simple logos with a yellow background, which are going to be used as substitutes for other symbols, regular ones though. As always, wild symbols should be able to improve the payouts for you, especially in the long run.
Another symbol to watch out for is the scatter, a Golden Bonus icon being used for it. The pokie has four types of beaker symbols and four scatters which correspond to them. Whenever three bonus scatters are on the reels 1, 3 and 5, you trigger a feature with re-spins.
During the 4 re-spins that follow, you get a chance to trigger additional ones. The low paying Beaker icons can be turned into extra wilds, but in order to do that you first need the bonus scatter which corresponds to the beaker on the reels.
If you have that bonus scatter present while a low paying beaker is on the reels, it will turn it into an extra wild for as long as the feature lasts. Each time this happens, 1 re-spin is added to the feature. You can get up to 4 extra re-spins this way.
