Theme of The Game
Dragons Temple does seem to have the action which revolves around the temple of a dragon, a place where perhaps humans could pray to this creature. If you check out the symbols, you find the temple in there, while another major icon will get the Asian dragon for its image.
The Chinese theme is visible in the other symbols selected for Dragons Temple, with images of porcelain vases, with Yin Yang symbols or fish present. The bottom five symbols, in terms of prizes, are the ones which have the image of the poker card logos.
Developer
Dragons Temple is a game that was designed by IGT. I’m generally not very happy about the design in the games that they propose, but there is no question about the quality of the features that they introduce.
This is a very large developer, which has a number of branded games as well in their offer, the latest ones being Tokidoki, Sherlock Holmes and Family Guy. Other pokies of theirs are less inspired theme wise, and here I would mention games like Isle o Plenty or Treasures of the Pyramids.
How To Play It
The two areas where you can change something for the wager are the Lines and the Bet/Line. The former allows you to pick 10, 20, 30, 40 or 50 active lines.
The latter has a total of nine options for you, ranging from $1 to $500 per line. If you multiply one with the other, you have a minimum bet of $10, and a maximum one that could potentially get up to $25,000, and that’s just for one spin.
IGT seems to have changed the betting system somewhat, at least in the way it looks, and the fact that you can now pick a lower number of lines. The wagers continue to allow high rollers to spend a lot of money on a single spin, and obviously that means having the option to win big as well.
Special Features
One of two types of symbols which have extra abilities in this game, the Dragon is available in about five colors here. Whatever color Dragon you land, you will find that these are expanding wild symbols, which will give you a full reel worth of such symbols, contributing to all 50 lines with their substitution ability.
You shouldn’t expect the wild to replace a Yin Yang symbol, since it is a scatter. Otherwise, wilds can appear on all reels and form combinations that pay 1,000x each one.
The columns from the middle (2 through 4) are the ones that can also land scatter symbols, sporting the black and white Yin Yang here. Having all three will allow you to reach a feature where you choose the type of free spins that you want. The option with 5 free spins has three wild reels (1, 3 and 5).
The one with 10 free spins gives you two wild reels (2 and 4). Finally, the round with 15 free spins gets only the 3rd reel as a locked wild. There is also a prize of 1x total bet for two scatters, and 5x total bet for three.

I wasn’t a big fan of the topic of the game, since it’s one element you can’t rely on to entertain you much, but the features are excellent and a pleasure to get them activated.
